Battle of titans is expected to highlight this Wednesday after when Global Field Evangelism (GFE) 105 will play host to the Administration Police (A.P) in the ongoing Kenya National Super League (NSL) at Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret.
The two teams are meeting for the first time as the second placed GFE 105 plays against the 11th placed side AP. The hosts have 14 points with 7 matches played while the visitors have 11 points from the same number of games played.
Coming from Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County, sits in second place as Wazito fc leads the table with 16 points after playing eight matches.
With a game in hand, the Joshua Obare led charges have put up the spirited fight to ensure that they regain their top position that they have been leading for the past three weeks.
Last Friday, GFE105 played out to a one all draw against former Kenya Premier League side Ushuru FC at Camp Toyoyo Ground in Nairobi and played to a barren draw against long serving NSL side Bidco FC at Kipchoge Keino stadium.
Since GFE 105 lost to former KPL side Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) two weeks ago, it has not registered any wins but collected two points from two matches played.
But that has not rattled Obare who is defiant that they will be playing KPL come next season and beating AP will not be a walk in the park.
“We will do our best to ensure that we return to the pick of the table. A single win plus one game in hand will give us an opportunity to go top again,” said Obare.
