Nairobi Stima face-off with GFE 105 in Eldoret

Hosts Global Field Evangelism  (GFE) 105 will be seeking to rediscover their winning formula when they play against Nairobi Stima in the Kenya national Super League (NSL) at Kipchoge Keino in Eldoret.

With five matches without a win Eldoret based GFE 105 has been dropping  vital points especially on home ground at Kipchoge Keino stadium and has collected 14 points from nine matches played.

Sitting at position nine on the table, GFE will host Stima which is two steps behind.

GFE 105 on Monday lost their third match against Isibania FC and double succession after they lost to Administration police last Wednesday by a solitary goal.

On recent games, GFE lost to Isibania 2-1, AP 1-0, registered one all draw against Ushuru, barren draw against Bidco United and a loss to KCB.

The last time GFE 105 collected maximum points was against Vihiga United when they won 2-1 away in Vihiga on April 2nd.

They started on a high note with 5-2 thrashing of Talanta FC and in recent days, their scoring chances have been limited and with six games played recently, the Joshua Obare led charges have collected three points only after losing three games.

Most games lost were at home at Kipchoge Keino stadium against former kenya Premier League side Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), followed by Administration Police and last Monday they lost to Isibania FC in Migori.

“We have been dropping points unnecessary especially at home and that has really cost our progress. We want to be at the summit of the NSL,” said Obare.

The team, which is sponsored by a church, Global Field Evangelism has been struggling with finances.
