The National Sevens circuit leaders Menengai Oilers will be seeking to extend their top performance at the Prinsloo Sevens, the third led of Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) meeting at Nakuru’s Athletics Club.
The youthful Oilers is in pool B alongside Sportpesa Harlequins, Mwamba and Western Bulls.
Coming from Nakuru County, The Oilers is leading with points ahead of Prinsloo defending champions Menegai Top Cream Homeboyz RFC together with Resolution Impala Saracens in second place with 34 points.
After Nakuru, the stage will set for a three week session with back to back tournaments in Eldoret and Kisumu before the curtains fall on the circuit at the Christie Sevens in Nairobi on 14/15 October.
It promises to be an exciting few weeks, full of ups and downs, thrills and spills, teams enduring the challenge of playing four back to back tournaments as they embark on the quest to be crowned Kenyan national sevens champions.
