Prinsloo Sevens: Captain Andrew Amonde returns

Kenya sevens captain Andrew Amonde will make his first appearance in the third round of the national Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) circuit in Prinsloo, Nakuru this weekend.

The Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) player will anchor his side that is hosted by Top Fry Nakuru at Nakuru Athletics Club.

Amonde has been instrumental in the national team, being the captain for two consecutive in the International Rugby series.

KCB finished 5th during the Kabeberi sevens played a fortnight ago in Nairobi.  The Bankers are in pool B alongside Kabras Sugar, Catholic Monks and Mount Kenya University, Thika Campus.

Top seed Impala Saracens, the Kabeberi sevens champion is pool A together with Nondescripts hosts Nakuru and Blak Blad.

Circuit leaders Menengai Oilers, who were the first runners up at Kabeberi a fortnight ago in in pool B with Harlequins, four time Prinsloo champions Mwamba RFC and Western Bulls while pool C has Strathmore, Prisloo defending champions and Driftwood champions Homeboyz, Mean Machine and Mombasa RFC.
