Two Kenyans Mohit Mediratta and Riz Charania are the only Kenyan professional golfers to make the cut into the final round of Barclays Kenya Open Golf championships on day two on par 71 Muthaiga Golf course.
It was great day for Germany International Max Schmitt who took over the leadership of the championships with six under.
Mediratta from Sigona golf club shot one under 139 on the two rounds of golf. He played one under 70 today and level (71) on the opening day to make him climb the ladder.
Charania played level today (71) to make the final cut too. The Windsor Golf club based golfer with 142 total after he added level again on the opening day.
The duo earned Kshs 100,000 from Kenya Open Golf Limited for making the cut.
But luck went to Schmitt who played six under 65 yesterday and added five under today for a total of ten under 132.
