Christopher Young won the second round Karen Masters Pro-Am Qualifier, The KCB Road To Masters golf tournament played yesterday on par 72 Limuru Golf Club.
Young, paying off handicap 10, carded 38 stable ford points with 22 and 16 points in both nines to get an automatic ticket for the Karen Masters to be staged at Karen Golf club.
Men longest drive inner Ben Wandawanda will also play at the championships with a wild card as he is joined by men winner John Karume (36), lady handicap 18 Grace Kimeria carded 35 points, guest winner Peter Kahuria from Nakuru Golf Club with 42 points and staff prize went to Peter Mwaura who made 34 points.
First nine winner was K Mukuria on 21 points whilst the second nine winner on 20 points was Moses Muchiri best longest drive Lady was Rose Gitau as nearest to the pin best man and lady was D. Mwangi and Patricia Wancongu.
The first batch of the six qualifiers from the opening leg in Ruiru were Christopher Kiai (overall winner), Michael Chege (men winner), Veronica Mwaura (lady winner),George Felix (guest winner), Bernard Kotonya (sponsor winner),and nearest to the pin men winner Ben Njuguna.
