Harambee Starlets has stepped their preparations for the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCN) qualifiers against Equatorial Guine.
The women’s national football team hit the camp yesterday in Machakos ahead of the tie on 6th June at the same venue.
Kenya will be hosting the first leg before traveling to Equatorial Guinea for a return leg on 9thJune.
Coach David Ouma has expressed satisfaction with the team’s preparations so far while noting that the players are equally upbeat ahead of the match.
Kenya edged out Uganda 1-0 on aggregate in the first round played in April. The Starlets will hope to make a second appearance at the Africa Women Cup of Nations with a win on aggregate over the West African Country.
If the starlets win the home and away meetings, they will represent the country at the continental event.
