Lawrence Mbogo best at Vivo Energy tourney in Nakuru

Home player Father Lawrence Mbogo emerged the winner of Vivo Energy Golf tournament series held at Nakuru golf Club over the weekend.

Handicap 26 player did it in bravado upon firing 47 stable ford points and had his campaign effective saw him up after beating his rival Idraj Singh to second place with five good points as he managed 42 stable ford points.

Mbogo managed 24 points in the first nine and 23 in the second nine to become the winner while Singh had 20 in the first nine and 22 in the second nine.

Handicap 2 golfer N. Koech completed the podium with 41 (20,21) stable ford points ahead of Kiprotich Kemboi who played identical 20 points in each nine.

Staff prize went to former Kakamega Captain Hieronim Ikhokoro who carded 36 points while Russel D was the guest winner with 36 points.

Jennifer Mugweru was the Lady winner with 37 points while Dejit Hunjan and Joseph Kioko were first and second nine champions with 20 and 24 points respectively.

Home player John Kamais and Natalie metto were longest Drive men and women respectively before James Kimani won the nearest to the pin prize.
