Resurgent Nakumatt thrash Homeboyz

Rejuvenating Nakumatt FC impressively scored 6-1 against Kakamega Homeboyz in today’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) played at Camp Toyoyo ground, Nairobi.

In a revenge mission, Nakumatt scored first through former GFE 105 player Boniface Mukhekhe to overturn the 2-0 win against Kakamega Homeboyz in the reverse fixture.

Tom Adwar netted the second on the 12th minute as newly appointed head-coach Paul Nkata netted the consolation before half time through Andrew Waisswa.

Kelvin Theuri extended Nakumatt’s lead in the 46th minute as Cornelius Juma extended the lead as Juma completed his brace five minutes later, as goalkeeper Lucas Indeche scored from 70 yards to complete the rout.

The win moves Nakumatt two places up from 15th in the KPL table, as Homeboyz drop to ninth place with 25 points
