Allan Oyende tops Scrabble Kenya table

After breaking the Scrabble Kenya record of unbeaten run in all 18 rounds in last weekend’s Kitale Scrabble championships at Skynest County Hotel, Allan Oyende is at the apex of the championships table.

With Kenyan players yearning to be featured in the Kenya team for next year’s World English Language Scrabble Players Association Championships (WESPAC) in India, Oyende leads the chance following his exploits in the local grand prix meetings across the country.

With search for points heading to Mombasa over Mashujaa Day championships, the Stima Club player will be in contention for the title.

The man who anchored the national team at the East and Central Africa Scrabble Association (ECASA) Championships in Livingston, Zambia, Oyende leads Bernard Koyyoko in second and Charles Kariuki in third.
