Mathare to topple Bandari in round eight

Mathare United will be yearning to reclaim their top position when they host Kakamega Homeboyz in the round 8 of Kenya Premier league (KPL) match at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

The slum boys lost the top spot after Bandari, who finished second last season defeated Posta Rangers on Thursday evening at Mbaraki stadium.

The Francis Kimanzi led side remains unbeaten in the league.

In other weekend matches, Ulinzi Stars welcomes Tusker on Sunday at Afraha stadium in Nakuru in one of the fierce weekend match.

Ulinzi has registered two wins in seven games while Tusker team that can move up to third on the standings with a win.

2009 champions Sofapaka will host Sony Sugar at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) tuckle Vihiga United while Western Stima play Nzoia Sugar at Kisumu stadium.
