Ushuru extends unbeaten run

After failing to make it to the top football tier (Kenya Premier League (KPL) for two seasons respectively, Ushuru FC has maintained unbeaten run in the National Super League (NSL).

The Taxman thrashed to remain top of the table in a 3-0 thriller against visiting Eldoret Youth at Ruaraka Grounds today.

Goals from Edwin Mwaura, Michael Osundwa and Jeremiah Wanjala were on target for Ushuru to shine over Eldoret Youth, who on Wednesday won against Shabana fc at Eldoret Showground.

At Camp Toyoyo grounds’ Nairobi, Wazito bounced back from a loss in the midweek dispatched visiting Kisumu All Stars 2-1.

David Orem and Teddy Osok scored for Wazito while Dennis Oalo netted the consolation for Kisumu All-Stars.

The win saw Wazito return to second on the 20-team league with 21 points. For Kisumu All-Stars, the loss was their first of the season, with the Kisumu based side ranked fifth with 16 points from nine matches.

After losing in the mid-week against Eldoret Youth, Shabana bounced back to beat visiting Bidco United 2-0 in a match played Gusii Stadium with Oscar Oketch netting a brace.
