Shujaa fall to Canada in Sydney7s opener

Kenya went down 24-14 to Canada in the opening match of the HSBC world rugby series in Sydney, Australia in the 1:44am match.

Canada’s Cole Davis gave Canada the lead with his converted try before Bush Mwale levelled with his converted try for 07-07.

The celebration did not celebrate as Cole punished Shujaa with his unconverted try for 12-07 lead as Connor Braid extended the lead for Canada to 17-01 into water break.

On resumption, Johnston Olindi unconverted try reduced deficit to 17-14 but Phil Berna won the match on the hooter for 24-14
