Easy win for Malkia strikers

Malkia strikers won two out of two matches in the ongoing Olympic Games qualifiers in Younde, Cameroon.

Today the Paul Bitok led charges defeated Botswana in straight sets in their second encounter in search of a sole ticket to Tokyo, Japan in a five-team championship played in round-robin.

Kenya won the first set in 2517, followed by 25-19 before completing in 25-18.

Yesterday, Kenya toiled to defeat former Africa champions Egypt 3-1.

Malkia strikers will be seeking to return to Olympic Games since 2004.

Kenya face hosts in tomorrow’s third match.
