Long serving Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier will remain unchallenged in the forthcoming elections set for August 8th in Nairobi.
Gor’s electoral board is currently verifying documents for the various positions applications in various positions.
The electoral board secretary Kennedy Mbara said applicants had submitted their documents by close of business on Friday 17th July 2020 at 4pm.
Following the deadline, Rachier has remained unchallenged but top positions will be batted for like Secretary General, secretary and treasurer will be battled for as well as the vice chairman.
Rachier will spend another four years at the helm after serving for 16 years to 20.
Sally Bolo and Francis Wasuna will face off for the vice chairman’s post.
Ben Bollow, the current secretary will not be defending his post and the post will be vied by Ronald Ngala and Sam Ocholla.
Treasurers post will be contested by Crispine Okoth, Dolfina Ondato and Victor Mbaka.
