Olunga’s goal fails to rescue Kashiwa against Tosu

After missing Comoros match in the AFCON qualifiers, Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga’s late goal did not manage to salvage Kashiwa Reysol as they lost to Sagan Tosu in the Japanese league one played today at home.

With 2-0 down, Olunga scored his 25th goal in the 25 games of the season as Kashiwa lost 2-1 as his scoring star continued to nourish after the team returned into the league following a coronavirus threat.

Visitors Tosu took the lead in the 53rd minute courtesy of before they doubled through Honda in the 66th minute but Olunga was on target in the 69th minute in the first game for Kashiwa since October 31 when the team went into quarantine
