Chinhoi scoops Safari Tour Uganda Title

Zimbabwe international Robson Chinhoi won his second Safari Tour golf series title today when he won the Uganda Open on par 72 Uganda Golf Club.

In the 72 hole tournament that took four days, Chinhoi fired five under par 67 for a total of 15 under par 273 for the title.

Chinhoi first won the Royal Nairobi Golf Club series defeated Uganda’s Deco Akope who played three under par 69 for a total of five under par 283 before Kenya’s Samuel Njoroge, who fired six under par 66 completed the podium with three under par 285 with defending champion Madalitso Muthiya from Zambia finishing 4th after two under par 70 for a total of two under par 286, a shot better than Philip Kasozi.

Six times winner Dismas Indiza from Kenya finished on level par total of 288 after a 71 in the final round to finish in sixth place.
