Madoya, Chinhoi face off as Safari Tour tees off at Great Rift

Forty-eight professional golfers will gather on Wednesday at the Rift Valley golf club for the 6th leg of Safari Tour series, the runner up for the Kenya Golf Open.

The Naivasha based club will host top golfers led by Zimbabwean Robson Chinhoi who has won double titles, Uganda Open and Royal meeting.

Chinhoil will battle with Kenya’s led by home player Justus Madoya, Samuel Njoroge, Dismas Indiza, Greg Snow, Riz Charania among others.

Others include David Wakhu, Simon Ngige, John Wangai, Mathew Wahome, Kopan Timbe and Eric Ooko.

The event has also attracted amateurs like Adel Balala from Nyali Wasim Ali, Carl Wambasi of Vet Lab Sports Club, and home player Simon Njogu.

Neighboring Uganda pros, who will not vote on Thursday are Deo Akope, Philip Kasozi, Abbey Bagalana, Richard Baguma and Willy Kitata.
