Wazito FC registered a slim win against Nzoia Sugar in today’s FKF Premier League while former champions dropped points against Bandari.
The Francis Kimanzi coached side came from a goal down to extend their winning ways to four matches with a 2-1 victory over Nzoia at Kasarani Annex.
Sugar millers Erick Otieno scored for Nzoia in the 9th minute before Kevin Kimani leveled through the spot in the 56th minute then former AFC Leopards player Whyvonne Isuza scored the winner for Wazito in the 71st minute.
The win for Wazito moved them to 3rd position with 17 points from nine matches played. KCB still leads the table on 18 points after playing seven games. The bankers have lost only one match in the hands of Leopards as Tusker lies second on 17 points, enjoying goal advantage over Wazito with eight games played.
At Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, hosts Mathare United were held to a barren draw by visiting Bandari FC.
Following the draw, Bandari moved to fifth position on the log with 13 points as Mathare with five games remained in the 17th.
