Kenya Morans, the national men’s basketball team will be facing Senegal again in the FIBA-Africa Afro-Basket 2021 qualifiers in Yaounde, Cameroon on Friday.
After losing to Senegal (92-54) and Angola (88-62) in the first leg in Kigali, Rwanda, Morans went ahead to beat Mozambique 79-62) in their pool B.
In the 16-team format, Morans can secure a ticket to their fourth continental championship.
Sixteen teams from five groups will qualify for the 30th Africa Championships slated for Kigali from August 24 to September 5.
Group leaders Tunisia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Egypt, who won all their three games are a sure bet to progress.
