KVF make women fixtures as KPA, KCB take the lead

Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) women’s league will this time be played on Friday unlike in the normal circumstances where the matches have always been played over the weekend.

The men’s league won’t be played this month due to the African Club championship.

Meanwhile, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and KCB have taken the early lead in men and women respectively at the KVF league standings after two meetings across the country.

KPA leads the men’s table on 19 points, two better than former champions Prison Kenya and 4 better than reigning champions General Service Unit (GSU).

After playing 7 matches, KPA has won six and losing one to take the lead as Prison Kenya have so far played similar matches, winning six an llsing one on 17 points while GSU has been in the field six times, winning all of them with 15 points.

In women, KCB team on the women league are on top of the league closely followed by Prison Kenya with one match  to played.
