Wakhu fights back to make the cut as Tonder lead Savanna Classic in Karen

Kenya’s David Wakhu was in his super form fired -5 to complete round 2 with 8 under par 134 in the ongoing Savanna Classic Golf championships on par 71 Karen Golf club.

As South African Daniel Van Tonder took the lead in the second round with a one shot lead from compatriot round one and Magical Kenya Open winner Justin Harding and David Drysdale who closed Day Two with a gross total of -12.

The Golf Park pro played 66-68 to have a touch with millions after missing the cut at th Magical kenya Open over the weekend.

Wakhu made the leaving out top pros like Greg Snow and Dismas Indiza, Eric Ooko, Jastas Madoya who played a plus 2 to end up with a total of+3. David Drysdale (Scotland) played 65-65, 130 (-12).

Tonder pulled away with a brave seven under par 64 score for a two rounds total of 13 under par 129.

Scotland’s David Drysdale another South African, Darren Fichardt, tied with Japan’s Masihiro Kawamura on 11 under par 131 after a 64 in the second.
