Harambee Stars has moved two positions up in the latest FIFA Rankings released today evening.
The Jacob Ghost Mulee coached side moved up two positions to 102 following their performance during the Fifa international break where Stars drew one-all against Egypt at home and winning 2-1 away to Togo to finish third in pool G and failed to qualify for the AFCON 2022.
But back home, Kenya lies in second position in the Cecafa region behind Uganda in position 84, Kenya (102), Sudan (123), Rwanda (129), Tanzania (137), Ethiopia (140), Burundi (142).
Mali, who Kenya will face in 2022 World Cup qualifiers starting June, have dropped three places to 57th in the world.
Harambee Stars are also in the same group with Uganda and Rwanda in the race to Qatar.
