Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga was on target when 10-men Al Duhail lost their first match against Al Shorta in the Asian Champions League.
The former Kashiwa Reysol forward score his 8th goal of the campaign as they lost 2-1 to the Shorta in a pool C encounter at the Jeddah stadium in Saudi Arabia yesterday.
Shorta ended the unbeaten run in the campaign for Al Duhail. The winners scored first in the third minute through Amjad Attwan but Olunga equalized in the 60th minute and as Mohammed Yaseen sealed the victory for Shorta.
Al Duhail finished the game with ten men after Medhi Benatia was send-off as they lead with eight points.
It was a sweet revenge against Al Duhail after losing 2-0 in the first leg beat Esteghlal 4-3 drew against Al Ahli Saudi (1-1) and Esteghlal 2-2.
