Beach Volleyball team starts residential training camp

Four beach volleyball players who qualified for Olympic Games have began their residential training ahead of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

The national volleyball team that beat Nigeria during the Africa Beach volleyball in Morocco have started their training at the Pride Inn Flamingo Hotel in Mombasa.

The four volleyballers Brackcides Agala, Gaudencia Makokha, Phoscah Kasisi and Yvonne Wavinya made the impossible possible to clinch the sole African Beach volleyball slot where Kenyan players saw off the pairs of Touch Nnoruga and Francisca Albertina, as well as Francisca Ikhiede and Amarachi Nwachukwu from Nigeria 2-1 (17-21, 21-18,15-10) and 2-0 (21-17, 21-10) respectively.
