Kimutai, Kwambai top Blossom USATF 10 Mile Championships

Kenyans Edwin Kimutai and Antonina Kwambai were top runners at the Cherry Blossom USATF 10 Mile Championships in the USA yesterday.

Kimutai won the men’s race in 45:45 followed by USA’s Abbabiya Saimbassa (46:18) and Augustus Maiyo compleying the podium in 46:23.

Other Kenyan men include Dominic Korir who was 6th, Shadrack Biwott in 7th.

In women, Kwambai was the best Kenyan finishing third timing 52:23 with former Boston marathon champion Caroline Rotich following in 4th with 52:25.
