Zimbabwe has fired former Gor Mahia and AFC leopards head coach Zdravko Logarusic over poor results in the World Cup qualifiers.
On Sunday, the Zimbabwe federation sacked 55-year-old with the pool G matches when they drew 0-0 at home to South Africa and a 1-0 loss to Ethiopia to remain at the bottom of the table.
In a statement, the federation said: “it would like to inform the football fraternity and the nation at large that it has amicably parted ways with senior team coach Zdravko Logarusic.”
Logarusic led the country at the Africa Cup of Nations and lost all their pool matches against Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Mali.
Logarusic was hired by Zimbabwe last year having taken outsiders Sudan to the 2018 semi-finals of the African Nations Championship, a two-yearly competition for footballers playing in their country of birth.
