Kibet, Moraa, Mboma and Kerley dominates Kip Keino Classic

Reigning world under 20 800m bronze medalist Noah Kibet, Olympic 800m 800m semifinalists Mary Moraa, Olympic 200m silver medalist Christine Mboma and Olympic 200m silver medalsit Fred Kerley won the 200m race at the Kip Keino Classic at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Kibet, who was paced by world under 20 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi defeated bigwigs led by Olympic Games 800m silver medalist Ferguson Rotich among others.

Moraa, the 400m under 18 silver medalist won the women’s two lap race to secure her dominance.

Burundian Mboma failed to beat World 100m bronze medallist Marie-Josee Talou for the women winning in 22.40 ahead of Ta Lou to the second position.

In men’s race, Kerley won the title in 19:75 ahead of Isaac Makwala (20.05) and Flippo Tortu
