Kenya Police will debut in the Kenya Premier League following their victory against Vihiga United in the promotion cum demotion next season that kicks off next Saturday.
The then National Super League side Police beat Vihiga by a solitary goal in toady’s return leg at the Ruaraka grounds to replace Vihiga United who played in the Kenya Premier League last season with 2-1 aggregate score following one-all draw in the first leg last Sunday at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Vihiga finished the league in the 16th position and was to play Police who were third in the NSL in the promotion cum demotion play-offs. Police will now join their NSL promoted sides champions FC Talanta and Vihiga Bullets.
With the promotion, Police will start their match against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu stadium and Vihiga will now drop the second-tier league having escaped relegation in the 2019-20 season after winning the play-off against Kisumu All Stars.
