Shujaa down Ireland, book South Africa at Vancouver7s final

Kenya Shujaa has booked for the final play in the ongoing HSBC World Rugby Sevens in Vancouver by beating Ireland in the semifinals.

The Innocent Simiyu charged side won 38-05 to qualify into the finals and will be taking on South Africa for the main Cup trophy 

The Blitzboks defeated Great Britain 26-12 in another seminal play to book Kenya at 3:2 am on Monday morning.

Daniel Taabu converted Willy Ambaka’s first try of the match in the first minute for 07-0 lead as Taabu converted his try to double the score for 14-0 and Alvin Otieno touching down third try that he failed to unconverted for 19-0 into water break.

On resumption, Taabu converted his try for 26-0 lead as Ireland touched down for unconverted consolation try by Conor Phillips for 26-5 but quickly Levy Amunga touched down for another converted try for 33-5 and debutant Mark Kwemoi touched down his first for unconverted try for 38-05 final score.

Kenya will be setting up a revenge against South Africa who beat them in the last pool A match today in the 3:20am 33-14.
