Tusker FC beat Gor Mahia to win the Football Kenya Federation League super Cup title played today
The Kenya Premier League champions won 8-7 in post-match penalties following one all draw in normal and extra time
Samuel Onyango converted the first penalty to give former premier league champions the lead in the 54th minute but Tanzanian import Ibrahim Joshua leveled the score, also converting the penalty in the 56th minute to force the match into penalties.
However it was a blow for Gor who finished with ten men after Captain Haroun Shakava was red-carded in the 72nd minute.
The cup, was meant for the premier league champions Tusker and FKF Cup winners Gor Mahia to mark the beging of a new season, the 2021/2022 season this weekend.
