Former Kenya Women Premier League champions Vihiga Queens will be facing off with Ulinzi Starlets at the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) women Cup finals set for next month.
Fresh from lifting the CECAFA CAF champions’ league qualifying title, Vihiga defeated Kayole Starlets 3-0 at Ruaraka Grounds in one of the semifinals while Starlets humiliated Kismu AllStarlets 4-2 at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
At Ruaraka, Janet Bundi bagged a brace as Cecafa star Jentrix Shikangwa scored one for the 3-0 win.

Former Eldoret Falcons striker Bundi opened the score with just two minutes into the match and Shikangwa dpoubled the score in the 23rd minute after successfully converting fron the spot kick before Bundi completed her brace in the 50th minute.
In Kisumu, Ulinzi Starlets beat Kisumu Allstarlets 4-2 with Starlets scoring the opener through Neddy Akoth in the 32nd minute but Sophia Odhiambo leveled for Allstarlets for one-all into break.
Monica Etot restored the lead for the hosts in the 48th minute for a 2-1 lead but I the 50th minute, Starlets captain Akoth bagged her brace to level at 2-2. At the 59th minute Lucy Mukhwana scored to give Starlets a 2-3 lead before securing a hat0trick in the 65th minute for a 2-4 win.
