Former champions Ulinzi moved to second position following their double victory at the ongoing Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) league at Nyayo national stadium.
The soldiers defeated Vickers 53-26 on Sunday and a 43-26 against Inspired on Saturday to match into the second position to move to second position with 22 points.
Unbeaten side Strathmore University still leads the table with 26 and they beat Boomerang 22-13 on Sunday to remain on top. Boomerang had beaten Vickers 47-29 on Saturday.
In other men’s matches, GSU registered double victory against Kahawa on Sunday and Boomerang 37-31 and 22-23 on Saturday respectively.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) also won a double after beating Inspired 25-23 and Generation 30-21, Buccaneers exploded on Vickers, winning 47-29 and Ulinzi clobbered Inspired 43-26.
The ladies fixtures saw Nanyuki beat Amazons 30-24.
