Fresh from winning in Sigona, the opening round of Safari Tour Golf series on Wednesday, junior player Tuimur Malik will be chasing back to back titles when the second leg tees off this weekend at the Vet Lab Sports club.
The event is set to attract top professional golfers that tees off on Saturday 2nd October to Tuesday 6th in the 72 hole tournament in the runner-up to the 2022 Magical Kenya Open Golf Championships to be player on Karen golf club.
The amateur golfer, was the surprise winner of title at Sigona afer edging out professional golfers Mohit Mediratta and Edwin Mudanyi at the play-offs.
The trio entered into the play-offs following their -4 284 where Mudanyi bogeyed in the first 18 as Mohit and Tuimur parred. The last two play-offs saw Tuimur hitting a par and a bogey for Mediratta.
