Nairobi water women defeated Rangers 38-17 in women’s title chase on Saturday while former champions National Cereals and Produce Boards (NCPB) beat Rangers 38-23 on Sunday to extend their lead.
Rangers gunned down Kahawa 33-30 in a men’s encounter. Joseph Wafula and Douglas Nekesa bagged five goals each while Abel Kamai shot 10 for the losers.
Elsewhere, Christopher Mayuda netted six goals as GSU drubbed Technical University of Kenya (TUK) 33-18, with Solomon Yenga and Kennedy Simiyu also scoring five each.
Other matches saw Ulinzi wallop Rangers 43-28, Gunners shot down Thika 37-31 while Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology nipped Rangers 27-26.
Women’s champions Nairobi Water had nine goals from Benda Ariviza and seven from Cecilia Katheu as they dismissed Rangers 38-17, despite losing the opener, Rangers anger was poured to Amazon with a 40-28 win.
In men, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) defeated Rangers 27-26 on Saturday as Gunners beat Thika 37-31 and GSU earning a walk over against Vickers failed to show up as Ulinzi beat Rangers 43-28 on Saturday.
On Sunday, Rangers beat Kahawa 33-30 with Rangers 33-30 Kahawa as Technical University of Kenya (TUK) lost 18-33 to GSU and Thika earning free points when Vickers failed to show up at the venue.
