Lionesses to compete at Safari Sevens

National women rugby team, the Kenya Lionesses are expected to compete at this year’s Safari Sevens that returns after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

Following their poor show at the Tokyo Olympic Games in August, the Felix Oloo tutored side has begun their training in readiness for the event that will be held at the Nyayo National stadium

In men, the country will be represented by two teams as their culture with Shujaa and Morans in the tournament where Shujaa are the defending champions, having beaten South Africa 19-7 two years ago at the RFUEA ground.
