Rising Starlets, the national women under 20 team journey for Fifa under women Women world cup came to an end today.
The Starlets today fell to Uganda Crested Cranes 3-1 in a match played at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.
Cranes Margret Kunihira scored first in the 14th minute but Kenya’s Peres Osinde equalized in the 19th minute when she converted from the spot for a one-all draw.
But the hosts managed to to lead through Hadijah Nandango, who doubled the score in the 39th minute and Juliet Nalukenge sealed the victory in the 90th minute for a 3-1 win.
Following the loss, the Rising Starlets are off the campagn with a 10-3 aggregate loss.
In the opening fixture at the Nyayo stadium, the Kenyan side lost 7-3 at home a week ago.
