Charles Ndiema lead Kenyans in Kenyan sweep at Graz Marathon

Charles Ndiema won the Graz Marathon held on Sunday in Austria.

The Kenyan defeated Kenyan compatriots to a 1-2-3-4 podium sweep after leading Onesmus Kiplagat, Bernard Kipchirchir and Joel Melly, and then ran confidently to the finish.

The rainy weather conditions could not prevent Ndiema from smashing the previous record of 2:11.10 that had been set by Edwin Kirwa in 2018.

The 28 year-old set a new course record when he cut the tape in 2:10.47.
