Saitoti lead Kenya’s podium sweep, Chepkonga best at Venice marathon

It was an all Kenyan podium sweep at the 2021 edition of Venice marathon held today in Italy.

Anderson Seroi Saitoti led the men’s podium sweep for Kenyans when he won the title in 2L12.21 beating compatriots Justus Kangogo to second in 2:13.34 and Gilbert Chumba in 2:13.55 for second and third positions respectively while home boy Marco Salami came 4th timing 2:14.58.

Kenya’s Marion Chepkonga Kibor (2:31.170 was second in women as Sofia Yaremchuk won the title in 2:29.12
