Starlets to face Crested Cranes in AWFCON qualifiers

Harambee Starlets, the national women soccer team will be facing off with Ugandan Crested Cranes in the Africa Women’s Cup of nations qualifiers that will held in Morocco between July 2nd and 23rd.

The Charles Okere coached side defeated South Sudan 15-1 in goal aggregate played at the Nyayo stadium last week to book for the second round match, which they had to wait their opponents between Uganda and Ethiopia.

Uganda defeated Ethiopia 2-1 in post-match penalties following their 2-all aggregate to book the Kenyan side in the second round of qualifiers.

If Kenya wins, they will automatically qualify for the continental football extravaganza, repeating the feet of 2016 when they lost all their pool matches, Ghana 3-1, Nigeria 4-0 in Cameroon.
