With Kenya Handball Federation National league already won by National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and Nairobi Water in men and women titles, the battle will be who will represent the country at the 2022 Super Cup.
As the league comes to an end this weekend, four teams and two teams will be vying for the remaining positions after NCPB won the title on 34 points, which won the title and first runner-up Strathmore university ended with 32 points to automatically book for the East Africa battle, there will be only one match for the men’s fixtures.
At the Nyayo stadium show, the men’s league will end when Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) take Black Mamba.
Top six men team and top four women finishers will earn an automatic slot for the championships as well as earn a slot for East and Central African Clubs Championship to be staged in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from November 28 to December 6.
Champions Nairobi Water on 26 points and runner –up Ulinzi Warriers on 20 points, KDF women will be in action despite oping the charts.
Nairobi Water women’s team battle out with newbies Nanyuki while KDF play Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Occupying third position is NCPB on 18 points and Nanyuki complete the top four.
