Omanyala joins Kibiwott, Kerubo, Kibet, Kipruto in Police

Africa 100m record holder Ferdinand Omanya has joined reigning Commonwealth Games 3,000m steeplechase silver medalist Abraham Kibiwott, Africa 400m hurdles champion Venice Kerubo, cross country runner Michael Kibet as well as Doris Chepng’etich at the National Police Service (NPS).

A statement on NPS social media pages today, disclosed that Omanyala was briefed on his new role in the morning when he called on the Inspector General, Hillary Mutyambai at his Jogoo House office. He will serve as an Inspector

Present to witness his induction was the Dean of Students University of Nairobi, Johnson Kinyua and the Student Union (UNSA) Head of Communication, Joshua Sirma.

Omanyala thanked National Police Service and government for supporting talents and promised to repay this kindness with success in the track events.
