Brian William Nyikuli has retired from active rugby to focus on other matters.
Nyakuli, who played for Kenya15s side Simbas as captain between 2014-2017, also turned up for KCB RFC also played for 7s side Shujaa for two decades.
He won the Kenya Cup title while playing for Impala Saracens, Kenya Harlequin and KC where he also played at Strathmore Leos and Homeboyz
“Thank you for your service on the pitch and we wish you all the best as you head into life post-rugby,” said a statement from the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU).
From Kakamega High School, Nyikuli joined Impala in 2003 to 2009 where he won the Kenya Cup with the side in 2004 and 2009
He briefly played the sevens season for Homeboyz in 2009 before crossing over to Kenya Harlequin in 2010 to 2012 where he also won the Kenya Cup crown with the club in 2011 and 2012.
Nyikuli joined Strathmore Leos in 2013 and played for the club until 2016 when he moved to KCB Rugby.
Nyikuli, who won Kenya Cup titles with KCB Rugby thrice in 2018, 2019 and 2021, led Simbas in the Africa Cup (Rugby Africa Gold Cup) finals from 2014 to 2017.
