Ruto, Lusaka, Stars and Leopards lead Kenyans in mourning Juma

Deputy president William Ruto, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, National soccer team Harambee and AFC Leopards have led Kenyans in mourning the death of Kenya’s number one soccer fan Isaac Juma.

Juma was brutally murdered by unknown assailants at his rural home in Bukaya village, Mumias in Kakamega County with assailants using machete to hack him to death.

Juma has been supporting Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards where he used to dance shirtless and his body painted with corresponding colours.

Ruto, on his twiter account wrote: “We are heartbroken by the loss of the ever-present AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars longstanding fan Isaac Juma. He was a friendly, ever jovial and passionate soccer supporter. Our thoughts are with the family and soccer fraternity during this painful time. Rest In Peace, Juma.”

Speaker Lusaka said “We are sudden by the tragic death of Isaac Juma, a renowned and passionate fan of AFC leopards and Harambee Stars. Juma’s exploits outside the football pitch is well documented, his contribution to the beautiful game will be remembered for ages.”

AFC Leopards Sports Club wrote: “TRANSITION: From the AFC Leopards fraternity we send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Isaac Juma Rest In Peace Juma.

Harambee Stars said “Our condolences go out to the family and friends of our top fan, Isaac Juma following his disturbing death yesterday night. His passion for the game was unmatched. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find solace during these difficult times.”
