Gateri lead Jemutai as Kibet comes second at Clique Mulini cross country

Fresh from winning the most promising girl at the SOYA awards, world under 20 3,000m champion Teresia Muthoni Gateri won the Clique Mulini cross country championships held yesterday in San Vittore, Italy.

The Kenyan won the title in 19:40 ahead of compatriot and world under 20 3,000m silver medalist Zenah Jemutai Yego, the same positions they won during the world under 20 championships in Nairobi.

In men, Levy Kibet was second behind Ethiopia’s Nibret Melak
