Champions Equity Bank and Ulinzi Warriors have qualified to play in the semifinals of the ongoing Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) set for this weekend at the Nyayo National stadium.
In women, champion Equity will be facing off with Zetech University Sparks with the champions hoping to extend their winning ways just like they did in the league, beating them home and away.
Last weekend, Zetech defeated Eagle Wings 2-0 (62-29 and 61-40) at the play-offs while Equity beat Africa Nazarene University 2-0 (66-33 and 73-36).
In other semifinal, Storms take on Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) after beating University of Nairobi Dynamites 2-0 (47-31 and 75-59) and Strathmore University Swords 2-0 (67-27 and a walk over) respectively.
In men, champions Ulinzi Warriors who beat Kisumu Lakeside 2-1 (73-61, 79-57 and 86-67) will face off with Strathmore University side the Blades who stunned Thunder 2-0(61-53 and 68-39).
Other semis will see KPA, who beat Eldonets 2-0 (87-53 and 86-66) play Equity Bank.
