Shah to lead Wafula, Chemtai at Ladies Open as Henseleit targets a brace

Magical Kenya ladies Open golf championships defending Champion Esther Henseleit will be set to defend her title as the second edition of the championships tees off tomorrow at the Vipingo Ridge golf club.

In a press briefing today, Henseleit said she has been training ahead of the 72-hole tournament where she will tee off at 12:52 in the same flight with Lee-Anne Pace of South Africa and Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen.

Nandi Bear’s Faith Chemtai, Kitale’s Naomi Wafula, and Vet lab’s Mercy Nyanchama are top players to shine for kenya while professional golfer Bhavi Shah is the sole professional representing Kenya in the event.

Wafula will tee off from the first tee at 13:03 in the company of Olivia Cowan (GER) and Nuria Iturrioz (ESP).  Also teeing it up from the first tee will be Chemtai alongside Amandeep Drall from India.
