Champions Ulinzi beat KPA in Kenya basketball final opener in Mombasa

Champions Ulinzi Warriors started on a high note to defend their Kenya basketball Federation (KBF) league title played today at the Makande Hall in Mombasa.

The soldiers, who won last year, maintained their top form to win in 68-66 in Game One against Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) with Ulinzi’s Victor Bosire with high score of 36.

Tomorrow, the champions will be taking on their second game at the same venue.

The William Balozi coached side will have a tough task agaist their hosts side led by Sammy Kiki for Game Two of the Finals before the series shifts to Nairobi next week.
