Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) whipped champions Ulinzi warriors to reclaim the Kenya Basketball Federation men’s Premier League title that came to an end today at the Nyayo stadium.
KPA, who last won the title in 2017, defeated Warriors 80-61 in Game Five after the losers won game four yesterday to stretch the battle to the final game against William Balozi side.
The Sammy Kiki coached side beat the champions against the soldiers but managed to hande the the pressure to win the first quarter in 35-23 and second in 41-32.
In the third quarter, it was all KPA. The rampant dock men build a 20-point advantage at 59-39 and closed the stanza at 63-43 before Ulinzi taking the 4th with 18-17.
