Deaflympics: Experienced Japan whip Kenya Women Football in Deaflympics

Experienced Japan humiliated Kenya women’s Deaf Football at the ongoing Deaflympic Games in Caxias Do Sul in Brazil.

The Kenyan head coach Ben Bella lost 12-0 in the hands of Japan in their opening fixtures in th 24th edition of the Deaflympic Games at the Estadio Estrela-Soccer Field yesterday night.

After earning a direct ticket for the games following the withdrawal of Ghana and Zanzibar during the qualifiers in Nairobi, the team under the Deaf Football Federation of Kenya started their training in March after trials.

Knya will be facing off with Brazil, Poland and the United States that will be played in a round robin-format, any side that registers at least two victories will be assured of a medal.

This will be the second time Kenya is making it to the games after 2017 edition
